NOT SO SIMPLE SAMPLE deals with the principles of remix / sample in music, which are then translated into dance material. A sample is a music sample (drum, melody, vocal, etc.) that stands out from its original compositions and is implemented into another musical composition. I immediately set my dance sequence into a real remix by changing its patterns (movements) to place them in place for another repeat sequence. My body is split in half, the upper and lower body moving in turn, which gives the opportunity to transfer shape in space. Within body shape transfer, they randomly decide whether to change the pattern of the torso or legs, of the entire body, or of an individual limb. Performance rhythm changes the use of gestures and audience views, blurring the bar between private and performance.
